Clare Corado
Attorney at Law
Clare Corado has practiced immigration law since 2013. She loves “using her nerd powers for good” by leveraging more obscure areas of the law to benefit her clients. Clare has broad experience in the field, including but not limited to family and marriage-based cases; naturalization and citizenship; complex waivers; employment-based and H2B visas; humanitarian and refugee cases; and mandamus actions in federal court.
Clare has been published in the NY Times and appeared as an immigration expert on Telemundo, the CBS Evening News with Jeff Glor, and Fox. She's the author of The Green Card Guidebook: What you must know if you're falling hopelessly in love with a foreigner. She has advised members of Congress on immigration policy issues and lobbied for legal reform on behalf of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. From 2015-2020 she was contracted by the Government of Mexico to represent Mexican nationals in immigration matters through their diplomatic presence in the U.S.
Prior to joining North County Legal, APC, Clare founded and managed a nationally recognized immigration firm that was twice honored on the Law Firm 500 list of fastest growing law firms in the country. She is thrilled to now call sunny San Diego home as she continues to represent clients worldwide in federal immigration matters.
